The Weeknd y Doja Cat son los principales contendientes en los Billboard Music Awards 2022, cuyas nominaciones fueron anunciadas este viernes.
El creador de éxitos de Blinding Lights recibió 17 nominaciones en la lista de finalistas de este año, en categorías que incluyen Mejor artista, Mejor artista masculino y Mejor artista de R&B, mientras que su colaboración con Ariana Grande, Save Your Tears (Remix), recibió nueve nominaciones por sí sola.
Doja Cat le siguió de cerca con 14, incluyendo Top Artist, Top Female Artist y Top Billboard 200 Album para Planet Her, seguida por Justin Bieber, Kanye West y Olivia Rodrigo con 13.
Además de The Weeknd y Doja Cat, la codiciada categoría de Mejor Artista presenta a Drake, Rodrigo y Taylor Swift.
Doja Cat, Rodrigo y Drake también aparecen juntos en la lista de finalistas de Top Billboard 200 Album por Planet Her, Sour y Certified Lover Boy, respectivamente, junto a Adele por 30 y la cantante de country Morgan Wallen por Dangerous: The Double Album.
